    Bob,

I use my throttle stick for spoilers, right slider for flaps and left slider for throttle (much safer than the use of a switch)

      Stephane,

When you get a chance please upload SPM file. I am certainly moving toward DX9. Loved the dolly launch.

Bvm jets strut door attachments. You Really don't need it! a piece of hardwood would work just fine.

I put a torsion spring on each door. The torsion spring has an L-bend each end secured w patch of glass. One end secured near end of door and other inside fwd fuse. I pre-loaded the spring before securing. The spring is 1/32 music wire of about 7" long.

Excellent arup! I was not happy with the binding of the elevator clevis to the elevator control horn. I had to use a little force to push the stabilizer into alignment to tighten the bolts and thus the clevis was twisting bending binding I did not like that set up it didn't work very nice. So what I did was use a 2-56 swivel ball-link for 4-40 rods and everything is working smoothly.

I had to add a Shim under the stabilizer to align it with the wing bar. It was off slightly and not parallel.
Also I noticed my elevator servo wire was getting wrapped around the rudder cables. You would either have to secure both ends or one and slightly tight but I don't like to put pressure on the wires especially at the servo and so I wound up just gluing in a 2 foot piece of conduit tube to the bottom of the fuselage.

The conduit is a great idea! I've already got ball links on elevator for really smooth no slop action, too. As soon as Gary at Decal-it sends my new graphics I'll post a pic of my bird.

Horizon delivered mine on Tuesday. Wings are 90% done, will probably start on the fuse tomorrow.

There are some really good tips in this tread lads, keep em coming :-) I'm so looking forward to getting back to the UK next week espessially as I have just spent 3 days at the Boeing factory....I have a real bad case of planegeekamania !!!

Got 2 days to go watch some drag racing and take my mind off the bloody flights back!!! but I really Just want to get home and fly the hell out of some of my birds....oh and by the way the factory was awesome especially as got an insider tour or two.....well 3 actually as its too bigger place to get round in one day.
Did the engine build shed today and found out the latest GE jet chucks out almost 125k lbs of thrust.... I told the guy I also have a jet turbine at home...really he said and what power do you get out yours.........he sniggered when I said 13 to 16lbs........lol

No pictures allowed....but I did literally come back with "the hat & the t shirt"....& a desk top 747 & a wall clock that says: " if it ain't Boeing...it a it going" and a second hat......lol....from their own airport,,,, well actually it's the collection Center....it looks like a posh car dealers but for planes..sorry went off topic a little there..back to it eh:

gunny that's a proper fix and we have some 1/8th truggy track rod ends that would be up for that job I reckon.

Undercarriage bay doors spring latch point: i will 3d print up something and post pics when I can incase anybody else wants a set and if anybody has any other custom printed part design or ideas that will better the build then let me know.

Sorry for the waffling...am still jet lagged a little....keep the ideas coming lads :-)
