Never saw one with wing slats, but you forgot to mention the reinforcing corrugation on the control surfaces.

LOL! wonder if Solo prop is still in business.

    • Ok, There will be a purchasing option on whether or not you want the stock rounded wing tips or the vortex drooped wing tips. The drooped wing tip version will include a separate plan sheet with supplemental instructions.

Kevin, Absolutely! 8 months ago Kevin mentioned these to me and I had no clue about any of this. Wasn't in any of my aeronautical design books. So, I've done a ton (months) of research on them, Size, spacing, angles, qty, location etc. Lower the stall speed by 8%. WOW! Talk about landing at a crawls pace! LOL. I'm definitely going to put these on my airplane. Just the cool factor alone would be enough!

This will be an option that can be added to an already finished and flying model. Now I have something to do over the winter.

              • This will be an optional kit laser cut out of .015" thick G-10. It includes a manual and drawing and a G-10 template with a gluing jig.

                        • The drawing shows dimensions for positioning the template and it is taped into place. Then a knife and a piercing tool is used to puncture the skin. Once you have done the entire length of the template, it is removed and the individual vortex generators are glued on.

                          • The end of the template is moved over and slips over the last vortex generator and the process is repeated.
