I also took the orange off the "inside" area and used some black to act as a dashboard /sun screen visor

Ha Ha,....I haven't glued the Canopy on yet for that exact reason......
I added a fiberglass Instrument Panel (no instruments yet).....and some black stuff....also some Carbon/Kevlar (UltraCote) to the visible fuselage formers in the cockpit.
Pilot mounting too....
Fuel system integration complete........Dubro 100 oz main tank and Sullivan S428 10 oz header tank. Safety wired gas connections with 0.020 wire.
Opted for running the spark plug leads thru the firewall...
Now I just need to go buy some more canopy glue.......

Get some FOURMOST rubber U channel for around the cowl cut out to finish it off.

Looks like about 10oz in the tail to balance at the wing tube........next stop ...Visalia Spring AeroTow.......
Took the easy way out on the Instrument panel - ......picture of the instrument panel for the languishing PayLoad Master 100 and color copier....the overexposure does a nice job of hiding the color mismatch.....I'll have to enlarge the gray background area a bit in the image......

Scot,
I would suggest the 1/4" U-trim considering the thickness of the fiberglass cowling.

One of the best things about the Bidule is that after 30 seconds you are totally relaxed with the airframe. After 2 flights you feel as if you have flown it since you began R/C. Beyond that it just gets more and more relaxing. The hardest thing about the Bidule is believing how slow you can fly it. Get ready to increase the tow angle and making about 1 1/2 turns to release altitude. It is a fantastic design. Enjoy the maiden, it will probably be the easiest one you have ever done!

Thanks for the positive vibes......looking forward to the maiden......
It did occur to me that I need to get my Triple-B...( Big Bad Bidule ) to Visalia ----unscathed, so out came the six layers of fiberglass (5.7oz) and the West Systems Epoxy.
This time I used some 404 filler along the strap overlays.
Some time with the belt sander....and
Scott
