I'm setting up control throws on my ASW and have run into a problem with the ailerons. The Instructions call for 29 mm up travel on High Rate and 23 mm on Low Rate. There's no way I can get 29 mm with the servo arm length given in the instruction manual. I have it set at 15 mm now and could maybe get 20, but that's it. With longer servo arms maybe 25 mm, but 29 mm looks like an awful lot of throw to me. How are other ASW owners setting their aileron throws? My experience is all TD/F3J so Scale is brand new to me.

    Thanks,

    Tom

I need to learn that trick. Did you mix in any elevator with the flaps?

    Gunny,
Thanks, this technique saved me! I was able to make a much stronger set up after all.

Nice job guys. I love that I can do the short field landing approaches... full flaps, full Spoilers coming in steep, slows right down to a kitten crawl right in front of your feet.

The ASW20's were out in force at SKSS. Everyone that was flying them was loving them. Personally I can't wait to get more stick time (and landing practice). I think we had a count of 5 but for some reason we could only get 3 together for a picture. Teaser shot from the work in process....

Had a great time flying the 20 at SKSS. Had some issues with the retract, partially due to the design and partially due to some hard landings on my part. Plan on making the retract servo driven instead of using the motor. Flew great though, looks awesome in the air.
