Nice stuff Scott, but how much weight does all that sealer and paint add to the overall mass?

          Hi Jeremy,
That is a very good question, I thought about it as I was removing the last of the Ultracoat off of the rudder. The Rudder as it stands right now thru Poly-Spray (UV protection) is 102 grams.

Most of the Poly-Brush and Poly-Spray evaporate off as the label on on the Poly-Spray indicate that its 30-40% Toluene, 10-20% Methyl Ethyl Ketone, 10-20% Methyl Isobutyl Ketone.......Pretty much all solvent......

Of interest, I found that if I use some Freezer paper ( waxed on one side ) and an Iron set to 200 degrees, I can reseal and smooth out the Pinked tape edges that lifted a little without damaging the surface.

You can also use the left over backing from vinyl, I use it on painted Solartex without effecting the paint!

minor modification to the tip bow- it was looking a bit too "thick" so the other bow that came off the form went through the band saw....10mm.....

Lookin' good! I love the looks of the fabric. I think you have it covered () but to help with sheeting the tip slide your sand paper off the 'T' sander a bit and let the naked end glide along the rib. That'll give you a nice transition at the bow end for the sheeting to lay.

                      Hi Mike,
Thanks for the Tip... tip. Now I just have to get out the VM/P Naptha solvent to get the old sandpaper of the bar

Used two alignment guides/spacers for gluing the ribs on square. Ribs are 3/32 balsa
