Eight tow planes confirmed - two runways - if winds are light one can be used for towing the other for glider landings, runways are grass full scale intersecting N-S and E-W
Plenty of room for campers/trailers/trucks/rigs/motorhomes bring it

Fantastic article!! I hope it generates lots of spectators and any local pilots who would like to give soaring a try. Can't get there until Friday morning, but really looking forward to this venue! Thanks so much for promoting and hosting.
Your GPS will get you there, but, it will probably take you the back way, pretty, but some dirt roads.
Here is the recommended route to Windy Ridge field, nice pavement, no dirt:
Take exit 38 off route 86 – Bath Exit
You will see hotels at this exit
Follow route 54 North signs
You will see the Hammondsport Fire department on your left.
Take the next right up the hill – this is Rt 87, Wayne road
You will see a sign for Watkins Glen and Camp Gorton, Turn right on Rt 114
Turn Left on Ridge Road (first left)
Go just about a mile and you will see the field on the left
Trailer is packed
Batteries are charged
Turbine is pack in there as well
I'm bringing ear plugs for all!
See you Thursday around 3
Because of the heat wave we had which was the perfect storm for My Oncall Guys
4 guys averaged 88 hours per person from Friday to Monday night!
It was unbelievable how many calls I got
I have a replacement Thursday morning than I'll hit the road around 10
