Day 1 ~ March 22, 2017
Weather today is definitely slope...chilly and in your face wind! Break out the slope machines, ski suit, and goggles and fly until you can't stand having any more fun!
A note to our other guests that may find this less than ideal for their kind of flying...the hangar is now equipped with an excellent heating system and provides a place where you can view the action in comfort while sipping a nice warm cup of coffee.
For our slope guys, get your fill today because the next couple days are going to be increasingly warmer with less wind.A Site for Soar Eyes

Day 2 ~ March 23, 2017
Forecast: sunny, light SE wind, warmer. No slope conditions today, so should be a good day for general flying and getting acclimated to the field again.
Some of us are meeting for breakfast at Linda's Old Furnace Restaurant this morning at 7:30.Last edited by JimD; 03-23-2017, 10:15 AM.A Site for Soar Eyes

Such a great day all the way around. Quite cool this morning, however it warmed up nicely by mid morning to where a light coat was all that was needed. Lift was ridiculous right from the first tow. My one hour flight with the Arcus was quickly topped by an hour and a half by Pete G and his Wein.
Excellent day towing too. Pete showed off his new Smelly Yak or Cemlach, something like that. Nice design, nice construction and great power.
Lets do it all over again tomorrow.
