Standard size 100oz servos will work on Ail,Rud, and Spoiler. Elev needs to be the SPM7020 and release needs to be the SPMSA6220 due to height restrictions.
As for why the 6220, kinda 1 size fits all mentality, carry over from my competition days.. It’s also a excellent servo that I have used in other models, I don’t like recommending servos I haven’t tested..

Yes, it can be made to fit. I used to recommend it as a release servo however I had a near mishap where I couldn’t release fast enough on takeoff, the transit speed on the 7040 is a little slow as it’s intended for retracts. Since the mishap Ive changed to the 6220.

Good point. The 7040 is pretty slow. Love the torque though..

It's going to blow your mind when you see how such a large airplane can fit into such a small box! It must be like those 'sponge' toys where you just add water...! lol What a great flying sailplane, too. I saw Peter's fly all weekend 'on the mountain'!

That was my first impression when I saw the box was how small it was but then I tried lifting it..
