The paint was a color match to the Ultracote I purchased through Jeremy at the Model Box. He purchased it locally and included it in my order.

i find that after using the color paint i wait a few days and clear coat it to bring the shine up to that of covering if needed. helps to seal it more from fuel also..looks great and will fly soon.. i got my battery box in the skylark enlarged for 5000ma smart pack use. should help with motor run time. older eflite 4000ma ones were weak and 30c small sized but the same weight as the newer 30c 5000ma smart pack...

Just waiting on graphics from Callie and some warmer weather to get out and maiden it now. Really happy with how it turned out!

Yellow Pawnee moved to the towplane storage area, on to the Swiss Pawnee.

Here's the story with the Swiss Pawnee. I bought it from Steve P, flew it at a couple events before snagging the tow line on a tree at Windy Ridge. Wings aren't bad, but the fuse was destroyed. Jeremy and I managed to track down a replacement fuse from Horizon. So here it is, going back together. First up is to repair the wings.

Wingtip and elevator back in one piece. Also, I have a lot of Pawnee parts.

I thought about stripping the covering on this one too, but decided just to patch it, add some vinyl and keep it simple.

Looks good Kevin, the color will be easy to see up at altitude.
