Plan to arrive on Wednesday evening and leave on Monday morning, that way we can spend full-time all four days at the event!

        Ok...
The Payload Master has been refitted with a new right cylinder recently and test flown. She's ready to tow. Rob and I are going to upgrade the servo's tonight, since the "Power HD " servos I originally installed in the plane are just too sloppy for my taste.
The Carbon Cub has also been flown since it lost a tug of war with a truck mirror last year in VT, It flies perfect as usual.
Jim has his usual fleet coming to the event and I'm sure there are a few other tugs will be arriving for towing duties as well. Now we just need some sailplanes to pull up!!!!

Gunny checked in last night, he's arriving Wednesday to set up his campground and our good friend Don is feeling well this year after a health battle most of last season, so he's chomping at the bit to get some flying in.
        Just to name a few.

        Should be an excellent event!!

Planning on being there the whole time. Thinking about camping to save the driving back and forth so Gunny will have some company. Also Ron my fellow photographer is planning on coming up again on one day as well (likely Sat).

I am planning on coming in early Thursday morning and should be able to join in the fun Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Saturday (weather permitting) I am in Stamford for the second annual STEMFest and will be showing the large sailplanes to explain the technology and designs of them to visitors at the event.

Looking forward to being with everyone, it should be a great event.....as always

Did you make these upgrades? Would certainly add to event excellence.

Scot, I have been very satisfied with the Sleep Inn in Niantic at 5 King Arthur Drive. Clean, nice rooms, and reasonable price.
