    Looking forward to this greatly!
Planes are all set... Fox, DG, and a new Ventus to maiden.
But, the knee gave out a few days ago so hoping to get it patched-up and in some condition to fly.

Tom - hope you feel better! We can prop you up against a tree, get you a chair, move your sailplane around the field for you, etc. Plenty of folks to help out with the in-between stuff so you can work the sticks and have a good time.

Got to Salem a bit on the late side, by about 3:30 or so today and arrived to see a really great crowd of flyers already here enjoying good weather and fantastic hosting by the PropBusters. The corn isn't up yet and the field is manicured beautifully.

Always great to see friends, old and new, at the events and catch up on everything.

Several of us enjoyed a great dinner together at Flanders Seafood and Restaurant.

Sorry I don't have any pictures for today (I was busy trying to remember which switch on my transmitter was for the retract and not the tow release...........I think I got the shortest flight of the day for that one !). Once I finally sorted out the switches and got towed up the Arcus Light flew well. Planning several flights with it tomorrow as well as some of the other sailplanes I have hidden away in my trailer.

Looking forward to tomorrow, should be wonderful. I'll try to get pictures throughout the day and post in the evening at some point.

                      Bob

What a wonderful day at the New England Aerotow.
It was an EPIC lift day. No exaggeration.... I constantly heard the guys saying, " I have the spoilers on and I'm still going up"

Also, a big thanks to everyone who came out on a Thursday to fly with us. Towing never stopped, Planes filled the air and fuel ( lots of it ) was burned.

                        Gotta go,

23 registered pilots on day one. A good start.

Here is some local newspaper coverage of Thursday. Both the scale and non scale epower entries,,,

Super cool on the press coverage Steve! Glad to help out where I can, even if it's behind the scene. Here is the article screen shot of Len. (hmm, looks like I need to add the official Swiss1 flag smiley into the forum coding...)
                            Cheers, Thompson
