Bocian landing gear pulled, rust removed, mud and grass cleaned from the wheel well....... Next two will be easy since they are straight axles. Some days it is nice to not have any retracts in the sailplanes.

Did you check for spotted lantern flies.

Another Windy Ridge Aerotow in the books! Thanks to everyone for putting up with the less than ideal conditions, but we got a solid 2 days of fantastic flying. Thanks to the club for the tent and mowing the runways. A big thanks to the Glenn Curtiss Museum for opening their parking area for our campers who couldn't get into the field. Thanks to Dave for still letting us invade his place with everything else he has going on right now. Thanks to all the tow pilots, including our newest one, Jack V. He's already asking about towing at Muncy!

The weather seems to mess with this event every other year, so if the pattern holds, next year should be perfect!

Thank you to Steve, Keven and the rest of the crew for pulling out a great (shortened) aerotow this year. Mother nature really was making it difficult but I had a great time while I was there. Thank you to the Kremer's for getting me a place to park the camper down at the museum.

Congrats to Jack on qualifying for tow duty! He did a very good job.

Sorry I had to book home to beat the hurricane coming to CT. That combined with a slow start out Thursday only got me about a day and a quarter in the air but enjoyed the time I did get. Also thank yo the Stephane and Len for the help and advice on getting going with the GPS racing. Looks like a real challenge but enjoyed it for sure. I managed to even complete one 30 min task with the ASW20. Yipee!!!

Here is the link to the shots I did get in between getting the flights in on Friday.

As always, great to see everyone.

        Enjoy,
