What an event! I had a great time visiting with everyone. So many people to thank....

Jim, you have an amazing place up there. We are blessed that you share it with all of us. Many thanks for all that you do. All your helpers as well. Special thanks to Marci and the ladies for lunches.

All the tow pilots, Len, Scott, Stephane, Pete, Kevin, Steve K, Steve P, Jim(?), and now Gunny! WOW, getting to be quite a group.

Len, thank you for the smoked BBQ dinner. You have any room left in that trailer with all that cooking gear???

The Night Radian is a hoot - thanks Jeremy. So much fun with such a large group hanging out for evening and night flying. Can't stop grinning.

I'll get the shots out but am traveling a little so check back here occasionally for my link. Meantime I put up a few shots of gunny's 185 on that thread.

    Later,
    Jeff

+++1 Great work! Were there any sailplanes harmed while taking the pics? (Looks like a few close calls!) Thanks for your efforts, very much appreciated.

I am from SoCal, I visited Jim a while back while on business. What a place. Your photos are spectacular. I am going to have to come back. Thanks again for the dream starters.

Thank you guys for the kind comments. Glad they are enjoyed by many.

Jim G. - your "Dream Starter" comment means a lot. Thank you. Just one of the reasons I do it.

Mark Y. - yes no planes were harmed in the shots I posted. That is not to say over the years I have not captured "events". Though I make it a point to not post those (unless with permissions), sometimes we find that they are useful in post event analysis as to why things have happened. The close passes are certainly fun to look at (at times beautiful) but also a reminder to all of us to try and avoid "close encounters".... Really look at the shots. Is the plane you think is closest to the camera really close to the camera? I think you will see in the 2-33 and 1-26 shots, they are not. Reason - different scale. At least with the photo you can sit back a study it. Not as easy when you are on the sticks. Keep daylight between them.
