Just a question, What time in the AM does the mountain open? Is there a pilots meeting?

Mark, we generally have the gates open by 8:00 am depending on the weather. When we have campers, they open the gates even earlier. We will have a pilots meeting daily at about 9:00 am to determine the plan for flying style and traffic pattern.

Leaving the shop a 4am with Snatch and Michael, will be an interesting 12 hour drive with these two

So it begins. Sunny day with light wind. Thermal so strong the vario pitch got above what my 70 year old ears could hear.

I will have to miss this this year...any chance of making it one more week later still next year Jim? I have "annual" work commitments this week usually.

Anyone flying and towing Monday? I could maybe possibly leave late friday and get there midday Saturday...

                      Happy flying!

A few shots from the first two days. The group grew quite a bit today and the weather was fantastic.

Who dressed the -31 in chevrons for the bottom of the wing? Sure seems visible!! Awesome! And of course the Citizen livery is very striking and cool! Looks like a great turn-out. Enjoy the lift!

                            Chevrons belong to Kremers,
Not sure about the Citizen, didn't see that today.

ASW-31 in Citizen livery was by Jeff Jackson. I hope I remembered the name correctly. It was a pleasure meeting you, too!
