This would be a great time to 'dive test' your ASW20! I'm going to bring mine for maiden. Will bring ASG29, too!

I should get to Winamac Wed. around 11-12. I just finished mowing grass and was going to load truck for trip but it started raining. Guess I'll load up tomorrow morning. I wanted to get to Winamac around 10AM.

The Tortuga Inn is a great place to stay! Linda and Glen are super nice folks! Here are a few more C47 pictures. I left Winamac a round 2pm and got home at 6:30pm. I sure had a lot of fun! The food at the field and 'out' was great! Thanks to Tim and the Winamac Club for hosting the event. Thanks to Tim, Stéphane and Jeremy for towing. We had a great event in memory of our friend, Miraslaw Zakowany... 'Mirek'.

I sure hope Mirek, from above, saw his good buddy, Tim, flying that Gooney Bird and his ASW20!!!

Sorry to have missed today but it was a 10+ hour drive home for me...I too wish to thank Tim, Stephane, and Jeremey for all the towing as well as all the cooking...it was really nice to have food prepped at the field and to be at the field at the end of the day...the sun set last nite was gorgeous...

I only wish there was a field like this closer to me...fabulous..to die for.

I am pretty sure I heard some faint voice say as I was leaving : " Timmie, I come to you" had to be Miraslaw !!!
