Looks like the forecast is calling for a foot of snow on Wednesday. I only imagine some of the snow drafts on the hilltop road could be somewhat deep. Which sucks because they are calling for good northwest wind also!

Plan right now is George and I are leaving Wednesday at 8 AM.... will text when we arrive I figure it will take 4 1/2 to 5 hours.... figure by then we can check in and Hunker down

So got a text from Jim.....he said he’s got the snow on the road covered!

This was how things looked at 10:17 am this morning...and then it started snowing!

Peter G arrived at my house this afternoon and did an airframe inspection on the 1-26 and Swallow builds...I think I passed. 😬

Okay...the plan for Wednesday morning:

1) Sleep in late
2) Have leisurely breakfast about 9:00am and catch up with friends.
3) Go to lunch and talk about flying
4) Have early dinner and talk more about flying and catch up with additional friends.
5) Go to Dairy Queen
6) Go to bed early

Great!!! We will pot the restaurant of choice here, at the moment we are thinking Ristorante Ottaviani in downtown Cumberland.

Day 1 ~ March 21, 2018

Looks like we had 2" more accumulation of crystal white sunshine (aka white sailplane camouflage) overnight. So far in the first two days of Spring, we have had more snow than during the entire winter!

We are kicking off the snow melt watch party at D'Atri's Restaurant this morning at 9:00am:
