Room Booked, Thanks Jeremy. Katie liked the Lancaster Brewing Milk Stout I brought in March... Guess another six pack is in order... Hint, she said she likes Stouts.

I'll be there Wednesday thru Sunday at least, may stay over for Monday as well.

Thanks to you guys who have already placed an order, and to the ones who have bought from us previously, we know you can buy elsewhere!
You can call me at 205 978 8787 or send me a PM.

I thought I would share this with all of you, Katie at the Fairfield Inn asked Janet, AKA 'Swiss Miss" what exactly an Aerotow is and here in her own words is what she told her!

Here is where I gave Katie a “lesson” in what an Aerotow is…thought you might enjoy reading! J

Not strange at all…this is an aerotow, which means that there will be “tow” planes, which look like your typical private owned planes….not jets…but these planes tow up the GLIDERS, which is all of their main LOVE, with a long rope which is released once the glider is high in the air…at that point the tow plane returns to the ground to tow up another glider…gliders have no engines and can soar for hours by just “catching thermals” in the air, with a little help from their “pilots” on the ground and ailerons (the flaps on the wings)! J That, my friend, is my quick definition of an aerotow. J

Yep that makes sense! And thank you for the lesson. Wouldn’t be my first lesson about planes. Two of my friends are really into planes as well. One has his own plane from his grandfather who used to build them and the other is a black hawk helicopter pilot in the national guard. I’m sure if they all got together they would just have a field day! Lol

I think it is high time we get Katie and her new Husband out to the field and show them exactly what we do

But they usually don't catch thermals in the air when they are receiving down elevator commands from the ground...just saying...179mph...

Not sure that grits alone will do it...but...salt, pepper, butter, and sausage gravy may help!!!

Can't wait, first a long weekend in Rehoboth with family. Leaving in a few minutes.

Planes are ready and just need loaded into the vehicle

I’m eager to get down to Cumberland and see all the changes that JimD has made. Arriving Thursday afternoon and staying at the Super 8 in Lavale. My new trailer hasn’t arrived yet, which is a bit disappointing, but not a show stopper. Will have to do the “wings over the passenger seat” routine one more time. Drive safely, everyone.

Len took over your Salto at Black Dirt and will be brining it to Cumberland.
