Magnetic switch with a Powersfe RX

Does anyone know if you can use a Magnetic type switch with the Specktrum Powersafe RX. In the instruction book that came with the RX it says other types of switches won't work with it

Do away with the switch....just install a charge jack receptacle on the side of the plane and use a bind plug. No moving parts. I have that installed on my Pegasus and on a Pawnee I'm assembling.
