Nice work, Tom. I like the simple and elegant solution you came up with. It looks reliable and very sturdy.

As Scott said... Arghhhh. That's horrible and just after you got it dialed in.

Tom, as always, was very thoughtful and thorough in his description of his build and all of that effort has really been a gift. I can't thank him enough....Last edited by yyz; 08-04-2020, 12:26 AM.

McMaster-Carr Candy Shop
Has anyone else shopped at McMaster-Carr for "just a couple of things" and ended up spending over a hundred bucks?Last edited by yyz; 07-22-2020, 07:02 PM.

Very nice. Pro tip turning the wooden clothes pins inside-out. I'm stealing that.

Looks great! Curious to see how you tie the joiner receiver tubes to the spar caps.

Shop air conditioning
Has anyone installed AC in their shop? I have a single, 10 x 20' garage stall separated from the rest of the three car garage that needs some cooling...

And the motor serves as a foot warmer for those cold high altitude flights.

Great work, Tom. Add yaw string, balance and you're good to go!
