As most of you know, I travel a lot for work. So I thought I'd share where I'd been lately.

Ran into this guy in Houston.

Then wandered into a hobby shop in Alabama and found this guy at the counter, turns out he's working on a pretty big Porter!

Nice. Cool to be able to meet friends on the road. Makes traveling a lot more tolerable. Say hello to those guys for me.

It was spectacular, friendly knowledgeable staff and a great selection of RC gear, from indoor micro quads up to and including an Arcus!

Yes...... First I was visited by Jim Dolly and Marcie early last year and then this guy turns up with no prior warning

I fly a private jet for charter out of upstate NY

So I get a text late Friday, saying lets go towing tomorrow!
The weather forcast didn't look good so we decided to do some micro flying in the parking lot at The Model Box instead.
He flew our Demo Champ S, which has Safe and even GPS for auto landing, he flew it like he does his Blanik and this is what you get



And this guy flies Full Scale
I guess he likes The Model Box so much that he can't stay away!

I must add, the first person to visit the new and improved Model Box 2.0 was our good friend Burt Picard-Richardson back in 2015 after the SERA Aerotow right before our re-opening.
I should also mention that Asher Carmichael is a regular visitor. So who will come by next? Maybe it's you

His Flying did persuade a customer to buy a Champ S, luckily before he took the prop off

Had another great time at the Model Box. Jeremy let me fly a couple different micros to pass the time on my overnight. One suffered from a mechanical failure... but it was quickly repaired because he had replacement parts in stock! Great shop, can't wait to go back!
