Yes, a very nice video and a look at the new Hangar. Jim, you looked a little concerned when Alan flew inside the Hangar

Packing now for trip to Muncy tomorrow, Looks like I can pretty easily fit there 4 Meter sailplanes and gear in the SAAB with Thule box on top... Whoo Hoo!

It is beautiful here today, but the field is empty...no planes, no people, no fun!

I am on site working on the building interior. Getting the final prep before the insulation and drywall goes up.

As for the runways, we mowed off a much larger area on Tuesday and then we had two days of light soaking rain. Today is full sun and the grass is looking super, a nice green carpet.

My goal has been to develop a first class flying field and this year things are really coming together...but...it is worthless without those fellow pilots, some of whom who travel great distances, to share it with!

That rivals some of the nicer European sites we've all drooled over... Very nice!

It was moved to a secure location off site...decided that it was better to have an open parking area considering the number of trailers, canopies, and roll out awnings that are in use.

So Jim, what did you do with the old shelter, I thought it was going to be utilized!

This is the view of the new building looking up from the intersection of the cross and main runways. The mowed landing area is now nearly three times bigger than what it was last year at this time.

These next two pictures are from what is now the middle of the runway. The areas of bare topsoil are what used to be the bottom edge of the main runway.
We filled in the ruts to smooth things out. First view is looking north and second one is looking south.

The next two pictures were taken from what is now the intersection of the cross and main runways.Ffirst shot is looking north and the second is looking southeast.
