I know there is a thread already going about the upcoming WINDY RIDGE AEROTOW, but I thought it would be a good idea to let some guys who may be on the fence know about this event from a different perspective.
The event started last year and was shoehorned into a mid fall time slot in October. Since the weather that time of year is anything but predictable, we all held our breath for good weather. As it turned out we received everything from bright sunshine to snow squalls, all accompanied by brisk winds but great lift.
This year, everyone who was at the event last October asked to return and were lucky enough to have the June date become available, which should guarantee some great weather.
There's overnight storage for some models, camping and food on site, slope lift off the lake and a full scale museum just down the street!!!
Don't be shy, come out and join the group and see what Northern Hospitality has to offer. The fire pit will be in action at night so prepare your best lie's .
