a dozen of us gathered at the former city airport of Holland, that closed down this summer.
Thanks to Rolly and Rich, we have been able to get permission to fly there, and gain access to hangar and restroom, most delux!
Weather has been ok saturday, a bit breeze to enjoy the thermal, but a lot of flying took place.
Sunday was forecasted to be not great, only flying window was between 8-10am after some severe weather was scheduled with heavy wind, and guess what? none of that until the evening (10PM) so once again don't watch the forecast....
The location is fantastic to attract new comers to the hobby, the field is just along the road that goes to the state park, lot of families with kids stopped by
