  • My new tow plane, "El Donkey"

Hello from the west coast of B.C. Canada. I have just finished and test flown new (my own design) tow plane that I named Electric Donkey. It is not very big but should have no problem with gliders up to 4 m. wing span. With 7s 2300 ma LIFE the output is close to 1500 W. Wing s. is 150 cm and the length 100 cm. The first flights went without surprises and with flaps down it slows nicely for comfortable landing. The only mod. I made is that I split the elevator and installed second servo for safety. As soon as the weather permits, we will take it up with gliders at the local field.

It would pull mine up. They are all lightweights! Green is my favorite color, too!

You posted it as a visitor message, not a post.
You'll need to post it here if you wish it to be viewed by all.

Thanks Len! I am learning. I just missed that "log in" in right hand side corner at the top.
