    Thanks Gunny,

Winglet fun....going to make a plug/mold for the winglets from blue foam so Hotwire templates ( Formica ) were made and stuff was cut.

Since I was over zealous sanding the cut ridges and sanded off the top trailing edge, fiberglassing it so I won't put too many dents in it.

    Plugging away .....Horizon....definitely a... maybe.....

Flaps - bottom hinged, top actuated and 55 degrees. Outer flap goes to Rib 7. Estes 1/2" rocket tubes for servo wire containers.

Mockup Winglet to check sizing and shape. The TL90 digital pitch gauge makes it easy to get the right angles.

Outer Flaps and Aileron. Staying with the bottom hinge setup on the outter flap . Drilling the hinge holes I thought was going to be a bit challenging , but turned out not to be a big deal.
Using the handle end of the 3/16 round file ( sharpened up a little ) does a great job of drilling matched holes.

Built the flap and aileron against trailing edge of the wing for a better match, using 0.060 shims in between the surfaces for spacers. And a jig at the wing tip for a matched aileron tip for minimal sanding.

Top hinging the aileron for a smoother look

And more clamps.......Was a bit paranoid about inducing any twist into the wing while attaching the lower D-box skin so I decided on the "gravity method again.......small wedges on each rib to push the skin up.

Attaching the Trailing edge stock.....I'm running the flaps to Rib#7 ( 2 more bays ) to give the wing a 60/40 split ( flap/aileron ) and since I'm going to have winglets the ailerons will be more effective at the tip ( at least that's what I'm telling myself )

No Adjustments,.....in for a penny ... in for a pound ....as the saying goes. the wheels should be just behind the leading edge of the the wing ....which should be pretty stable

Finishing up on the right center section.

Do you have a way to adjust the gear in case it wants to nose-over too readily?
