Not sure where to ask this, as it pertains to tugs I will ask it here, hope
that is ok.
My question: How critical is the size of canister to engine displacement? I have aquired a VVRC 40 twin which I intend to power a tug with. I would like to run a canister exhaust and Valley View sells a two into one Y header. The canister they recommend measure's 15" long by 2.25" in diameter. I have found a canister for a DLE 55cc which measures 12" x 2.25". Would this canister be adequate for the 40cc VVRC?
