Paint to match Ultracoat True Red

What commercially available spray paint is the best match to Ultracoat True Red? I seem to recall that Pete did some experimentation with this...

Jim....Krylon Banner Red is a close match. I must say I liked the old formula better though.

I agree the old formula was better. With class coat you need to have a sprayer and compressor.

The red stripes here where used painting with Krylon banner red. Unfortunately I don't have red ultra coat to compare to but maybe you can compare it to the picture.

If you are painting a large area like a fuselage or a wing....go with Klass Coat...if you have there equipment...but if you are painting a spinner or wheel pants, the Krylon should work fine.
