What is the best glue now days for fastening canopies to wood or fiberglass?
    Thanks, RonP

Depending on your comfort of working with each choice, anything from GOOP to RC56 to clear silicone to any of the gel CA products. All work fine and I think you’ll see that people use the range.

I have used RC56 for applications of canopies to wood and was very happy with the results. It does take some time to dry though. I would not recommend normal CA's for canopies since they can fog and melt plastics in my experience. However, "foam friendly" does not have those same characteristics and I have had good results using the BSI brand on plastics. Note that the foam friendly CA seems to have a shorter shelf life and will take longer to cure than regular CA in my experience also.
