I was chatting with Dennis Brandt last night and I mentioned Smooth-On Free Form Air to him. I have been using it for awhile for a lot of different things and he seemed fascinated by the characteristics and the fact that it is water cleanup so I thought I would pass it on here as well. I also mentioned the source I use to get it which is the "Engineer Guy" in Atlanta. The Engineer Guy is focused on the theater and film industry but there are a lot of things they distributes that are useful to modelers. Another example is Foss Max which is a non-woven matt material that can be draped over items or formed by hand and then solidified using a heat gun or steam iron. There are casting resins, expanding foams, etc., etc. Here is a link to the Free Form Air Putty. Just click on "home" at the top to access the main page for the "Engineer Guy."
