Awe man! Risky move, now you're to blame if conditions suck

Fight Club is an apt term -- we darn near got blown off the mountain this afternoon! Started howling at about quarter of four. It finally settled in, got smooth and we enjoyed huge slope lift over the valley. Ski goggles, half pipes and lumberjacks. Even the EFX Racer became a sloper. Gorgeous now...

That biplane is what I call a distraction.... It's like a big eyed puppy at the local pound, Len is a sucker for big "eyes".....

The day started a little cloud but soon opened up to beautiful sun and little to now wind, then the wind came with a vengeance.

Interesting day, very busy. Jim maidaened his Bidule, I flew my Bipe, and Steve sloped with his 60" halfpipe.

That's an Aeroworks Pitts Python, DA-60 with B&E Graphics. About 4 seasons old now. The tow release is on the other side.

Jim could tow the Python with his Bidule!! What do you say Jim? You probably won't even know it's behind you. Len comes close to overs peeding my Arcus when he tows with his Bidule, and the Let Ventus is pretty much the same as an Easy Glider on tow.

Jim towed with the Bidule today, pretty much a non event. Good power with the DA 150. Smooth running motor.
My Bidule also had a fair amount of air time this morning. The brakes are simply fabulous. NO KIDDING. We were like children out there, bringing the plane in for a landing and watching it slow down like you had revers thruster on the prop.
My favorite thing was to lock them up on landing roll out and watch the Bidule slide to a stop. The grass was a bit damp this morning. On pavement you would leave skidmarks. Excellent design.. Trouble free so far, about 2 hrs on them. ( not easy on them either)
The parking brake feature is great. I can run the motor up to about 1/4 throttle before it starts sliding the plane on the grass with the wheels still not turning.

About 1 the wind kicked up and we were done with aerotowing and onto slope flying. We'll get some videos soon.
