Finishing up work on the Bidule the last couple nights.

I have used Scot's steering modification with the 1/5 scale Losi steering parts and modified it a bit for mine with the DA 170....a slight change in configuration, but seems to work really well. A slight adjustment to the cg with the steering farther forward as well.......about 6-8 oz of lead added to the tail of the plane.

Should be ready to tow for the event and hopefully mine will be much more reliable now with the changes that have been completed.

Looking forward to th event....it is going to be fantastic !

The club is excited to have the aerotow group back, everyone's in a buzz about the event. It's so easy to feel good about holding an event when the club is 100% behind you.

Who's arriving Wednesday? We're planning an informal dinner at one of the waterside restaurants that evening and would love to have you join us.

        Hi Conio,
That would be great. It worked out well last year with the smaller planes being towed by use guys.
        Thanks for the help.

I must reluctantly sacrifice a perfect. factory-sealed E-Flite ASW20 4.7 M sailplane with the E-Flite retract, all unmolested, brand new, and never opened. Two big boxes and a very little one.
Will bring to Salem Aerotow, if someone'll agree $975. is, verily, a steal. Let me know.

I'll be attending this event for the first time after seeing prior pics and reading about it. A group of folks (including Len) visited our club last year for our giant scale event and brought a great selection of aircraft with them and put on a great show, people still talk about it. It prompted some of us to go out and get some of our own gliders, from motorized to tug/high start. I'm trying to finish up one now to bring with me. I presume all types of gliders will be flying, or is it just those that need to be hauled up?
