A big thanks to Charlie and the crew for a great event. It's hard work for you and appreciated by all.

Those rain storms on Thursday were a blessing not because they caused us to find a good brew pub -- rather they ushered in beautiful blue skies, lower temperatures, low humidity and HUGE FREAKING PLANE SUCKING UPPING THERMALS FROM CRAZY DEMENTED LAND. Friday was one of the best flying days in years. Saturday weren't too darn shabby either!

Flew everything I brought, towed a bit with Len's Bidule including hauling the massive Queen Mary DG-1000, and came home with a bigger belly and a nice Top Gun trophy for the Slingsby Falcon III. Even the traffic driving home cooperated for the most part.

    Until next August!

    Hi Guys
    Wow,
This has been a busy event so far, tons and tons of flying in ridiculous lift and even some eating too.
I had the chance to fly my Paritech DG1000 this weekend and I'm please to report its flying fantastic. I decided to remove the Up and Go unit along with all the associated parts and save over 13lbs.
The Bidule is once again stepping up to the job, towing the 82 lb DG1000 like a foamie.
Its great to catch up with all the Delaware guys and visit with so of the new pilots attending this year. Things here in DE seem to be on the rise.

Charlie showed up with a new tug this year, its a Hempel Super Cub sporting a DA 170 under the hood !!!

The BBQ feast tonight was once again over the top, SKSS style. Thanks to Charlie for getting it all together!!!

    See ya in the morning

Pickup a dozen doughnuts in the morning Charlie and if you don't eat them you will have six pairs of spare tires

You had to be there to believe it. 4, 5, and I think 6 meter sailplanes off the ground in less than 3 feet of runway.

That Jim Dolly can fly a tug! Nuff said.

Tow plane folded a wheel but thanks to Sean for the one wheel landing and Len replacing the sheared bolts the plane flew again
Going to be a great time!

Knowing that there might be some rain is expected I don't want to run my generator again in the rain due to moisture issues in the fuel system etc.
So today I whipped up a rope less and tool less canopy for my generator.
Got to love West Marine for their hardware and parts for a Bimini top.
