Join ScaleSoaring.com and our host Mark Eisele for another scale soaring weekend in beautiful Central PA. This site in Muncy offers spectacular views, well-maintained grass runway, and tons of blue sky, hat-sucking thermal soaring! Multiple tow planes capable of towing sailplanes up to 10 meter wing spans. E-sailplanes welcome. Fly until dark each day!

$25/day, $60/4-days entire event, $50/entire event for active tow pilots. Yes, we will be flying on Wednesday too. ;-)

LOCATION... High Acre Lane and Intersection of County Line Road, Muncy PA 17756.

This is a great location to camp! Ample area for large camper or tent camping on site, no hook-ups. Please enter and travel on High Acre Lane past the white house VERY SLOWLY!

Daily lunch Thursday, Friday and Saturday on site for a $8/day donation. Sunday BYO.

Camping has become a big thing at Sky High as the site is perfectly flat, good grass and quiet corners if one might wish. Always a great group of people and talk around the campfire. Staying on site should be a top consideration.

For the hotel and restaurant set, here are some suggestions. Williamsport is the largest town, 30 minutes from the field with lots of hotels, shopping, food choices, a great brewery, etc. Danville, Buckhorn/Bloomsburg, and New Columbia/Lewisburg are each about 25 minutes from the field. There are a ton of fast and casual restaurants in each of these areas. Simply some suggestions below

Core dates for the event are Thursday 9/7 through Sunday 9/10. Lunch on-site Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Any other days are BYO

As always, early arrivals are welcome. Port-a-Pots will be delivered during the day on Tuesday the 5th.

We usually see some campers arrive that day to set up their homes and do a bit of flying. Wednesdays usually sees towing/flying by the early arrivals
