Sailplane flyers = $20 per day, $60 for the entire 4-day event. Tow pilots = $40 for all 4 days. All proceeds benefit the Sky High field fund.

LOCATION: High Acre Lane Intersection of County Line Road and High Acre Lane, Muncy PA 17756. Ample area for large camper or tent camping on site, no hook-ups. Please enter and travel on High Acre Lane past the white farmhouse to your right VERY SLOWLY! Overnight plane storage usually available in the main barn.

Updated the flyer above. We lost our food truck. Will advise if this is a BYO food event like others have been this year. We will have waters and soft drinks on site, but please be sure to pack plenty of your own favorites.

Registration is important so we know the size of the group.

        Thanks!

FYI, some of us will be arriving Wednesday afternoon or early evening to set-up camp etc. PortaPots are to be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday morning so we should be all set.

Bill reminded me how important it is to attend this event... someone "could" win a Lamborghini!

FYI. Angie was booked for some very large, lucrative events so we are back to BYO lunch! We will have soft drinks and sodas available throughout.

How is the ground doing there with all the rain? Looks like we get remnants of Ida later this week. It has been a wet summer.

Sky High drains well. This week poses no issues.

Thursday threw us some curveballs. The “partly cloudy” meant the whole morning part was cloudy. :-)

We did start towing around 10, first getting about 600 feet high, then a little bit more toward one thousand, and finally higher but sometimes in and out of some spectacular clouds. Made for serious “pucker”, moments. Tim may still be feeling it. Noon until 4 o’clock was just fine. About 4:15 a line of thunderstorms came though and did a rinse cycle until just before 5 when we started flying again and doing some stupidity.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday look true to forecast, perhaps a bit cooler the first two days, hotter of Sunday.

Here are a few snaps from the morning …

Lunch became a big priority today. That led to many sleepy pilots.

Home safe and totally exhausted. Thanks to Steve for setting this up. Thanks as always to the tow pilots for loaning us their skills. Not much lift but lots of flights, lots of fun, and lots of friends. Let’s do it again!!!!!

Thanks to all who came out to Mark's little slice of heaven! The days go by quickly!

Speaking of that, there was talk of doing a combo of two -- spring (early June?) + fall (same Sept timing) -- events in 2022. Would appreciate feedback if the community would support that approach?

Without Jeff Duhaime to make us look good in photos, we took it upon ourselves. Here are a few I borrowed from the web... Please share more! Again, thanks for making it a fun weekend.
