Hey Guys,
Just checking in to say hey and we're back for this years FAT Fest in Frankenmuth, MI. We had a great time last year and hope to see you again or for the 1st time at this years event.
What: Frankenmuth AeroTow Festival
Where: Frankenmuth Aeromodelers Field
When: August 17-18, 2019
AMA Sanction: #8116
As always we will have sailplanes available for 1st timers to get some time on the tow line and lots of help for newbies.
You can camp at the field if needed, however, there are no hook ups so you need to be self sufficient.
Here is the video from last year. We hope to have the quad guys back to film your aircraft if you'd like to see it in the air. They only fly with pilots that ask and are comfortable with them around your sailplane as you fly. Your choice, you can see some of the results in the video.
Don't forget we have some terrific venues for day trip if you'd like to bring family that wants a short excursion as you're flying. Discount Shopping and a Bavarian Village to explore.
