    Hey guys,

Have a wonderful weekend. After your event last year when the weather was a challenge, its so great to see a fantastic forecast and huge turnout expected... Please keep us all posted with pictures and videos!!!!

Keep the tow lines tight and the wait line short.

We brought tow planes...both are powered with DA-120 engines so we should be able to tow most anything. Planes are TopModel Porter and Hangar 9 Super Decathlon.

            Day 1 ~ Saturday, May 2, 2015

First one here this morning and the day looks spectacular! The field has an east/west runway with the view from the pit facing south. From the straight line edge of the runway, there is a wide open flyover area for the entire 180 degree sweep. This is flat land farm country!

Weather forecast is for light wind out of the west, which will be straight down the runway...perfect for an aerotow event. The picture is the view from the pit area looking southwest.

The Decathlon put in one hour of flight time and then the flex pipe on the left header decided to break...not to worry, the Porter stepped up and did another three hours. What a fantastic day and nice group of people!

Well, I am exhausted. Today was exactly what was not 2014 event...

A lot of sun, low wind, high temperatures, a very good day to organize and Aerotow.

Our crowd was about 12 pilots and we had a lot of fun, here is couple pictures

I had a great time today - thanks to all, but particularly to Stephane and Jim. I took a bunch of video, only some of which I have gone though so far, but here's a taste (switch to HD, if it does not default to HD). Fantastic weather!
