I can't wait! I'll have a brand spanking new ASW 20 for the event. I have modified a few things on it using the thread started by French1. I saved over 30 grams by building a new rudder which is removable by pulling a hinge pin. It has a relocated belcrank and servo (below seat pan) for the rudder cables so the servo can be removed without removing cables. It has a glass seat pan. It has torsion spring hinge pins on the gear doors. The release pin is articulated for a more smooth operation. It'll get some other 'tweaks', too!Comment

Looks like we are going to have a good turnout, I'm glad that Asher will attend, as we know he will be moving sometime in the near future
I would like to have all the tow pilots chime in, to ascertain how many Tugs will be available. I know that Pete George may come with his Carbon Cub if DA returns his Engine in time!

Lunch is available Thursday-Saturday as Sunday usually slows down by early afternoon as people head home!
You may want to pack snacks and drinks for the remainder of the day

Epp's Field is about a 4-1/2 hour drive from Mike's house, so we are trying to calculate our departure time next Wednesday. So, a question for Swiss1 and Snatch, when do you expect to be on site? Asher, glad you are coming, and it will be great to see Rusty again! Do you know what Rusty will be bringing?
I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of you guys again too! We'll have more towplanes than ever this year. In addition to the ones Jeremy listed above, George Rittenhouse will be bringing the Pulldog electric towplane (the one I designed and towed with last year), and Archie Phillips will be bringing his Ugly Stick towplane. So we should have non-stop towing action.
At present the weather forecast is looking fabulous, so fingers crossed on that!Comment

Lookng forward to it. I'm taking a hiatus on flying but I'll help out where I can. Rusty is bringing his trusty ASK 18. Mike Watson is also scheduled to attend and will be campaigning his Antares and ASW 22. It looks like the event is shaping up nicely. If I get a chance I may bring the 40% libelle for show and tell.Comment
