  • New Cumberland Hill climb vehicle

Just took delivery of my new towing/hill climbing transportation device.
The Kia was maxed out trying to drag the little trailer up the Cumberland hill last month, so in it's place.

From a small trailer owner who tows with a medium sized car (Honda Pilot), smaller than 4x4x10 and you are banging your head and have not much more room than inside the car. I think 5x5x10 is the sweet spot for small trailers. Not so big that the car has trouble pulling it and big enough that you don't always have to hit your head in the door opening. 3-4 sailplanes and a big tow plane can easily fit in 5x5x10. bigger wheels (14-16") and suspension are best for keeping bearing maintenance in hand and the load protected best you can from lumps and bumps.
