  • For Sale: 37% Schleicher ASK-21 Salalore by Rödelmodell - Ready to Fly - $3500

Purchased from Steve P. last year, I am reluctantly selling this beauty due to health issues.
The model has been carefully stored since purchased from Steve and is in Excellent, ready-to-fly condition.

Rather than trying to duplicate Steve's excellent description of this beautiful model, the original posting by Steve was copied and pasted below.
Here's the link to the original post, which includes pictures:

This ASK-21 was designed by Rödelmodell from the original Schleicher factory drawings and specifically designed as a high-performance large-scale model. Besides its great flying characteristics, it is indistinguishable in flight from its full-size counterpart. Tows beautifully for its massive size, is nimble and handles well in flight, grabs thermals easily given the huge wing area, and offers decent speed performance. Will also easily perform a realistic aerobatic routine. Tracks well on landing with airbrakes deployed.

EASILY TRANSPORTED!! The kit was designed to fit into a regular sedan automobile – four-piece wings, the fuselage brakes down into two pieces, and the whole airframe can easily be transported in a compact car! Wings are joined with massive joiners for insane strength. The fuselage interlocks where it breaks down and is quickly assembled with four bolts. The elevator is retained with two large bolts. The rudder can be removed by slipping out the full-length hinge pin.

This is a rare opportunity for someone without a large trailer to enjoy a MASSIVE, amazing, great-flying giant-scale sailplane!

Also for sale: the Power Box power packs and charger:

    $140 2X PowerBox 2500 mAh PowerPaks
    $25 PowerBox charger.

I will include the PowerBox power paks and charger as a package at no charge.

The sailplane is located in Canterbury, CT. I don't have the means to safely ship this very large sailplane but would be willing to meet a serious buyer halfway within a couple of hundred miles of my home in Canterbury.
