  • FOR SALE: Photos added - 5-meter Nemere Sailplane -- in excellent condition, complete

FOR SALE: Spectacular and rare 5.0-meter wingspan Nemere in excellent condition, expertly crafted from the Schneider-Modell kit imported from Germany - $2250 complete and ready to fly.

5-meter wing with a 2-meter fuselage length equals 1:4 scale. Airfoil is the proven thermal duration SD7080 which yields excellent performance on a scale sailplane. The Nemere has very positive aileron control and thermals beautifully. This model has the addition of a custom-machined aluminum spar married to the standard internal wing structure (it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing). Finish is natural wood, wings are fabric-covered, all surfaces sealed to a high gloss. No pilot figure. It absolutely glows flying in the sunlight. Canopy shows some sagging effect.

Plane is completed in the original 1930’s Hungarian scheme with Olympic markings.

Controls are split ailerons (2 per side with the ability to utilize the inners as flaps for launch mode and thermal camber and to crow the ailerons on landing), ample rudder, full flying horizontal stabilizer and tow release. Wings are two-piece.

Sale includes a custom-made set of heavy-duty, zippered, felt-lined Revoc wing bags, each with carry handles and a similar construction bag for the horizontal stabilizer. Bags are in like-new condition (cause they're new :-) ).

Ideally, this plane is for local delivery as well as at aerotow events in Lancaster PA (August), Muncy, PA (Sept), Goshen, NY (Oct) or Cumberland, MD (Nov).

It CAN be crated and shipped CONUS only please (insured) at buyer expense.

$2250 complete and ready for your batts/Rx. PayPal okay as a personal transaction or to cover fees. Happy to answer any questions or debate pricing. PM me if you'd like.

Wings are plug and play. Note the aluminum at the center of the spar...
