The canopy mount needed some work. I made a new piece to key into the existing canopy pin. In the front, a new dowel takes care of the front.

The canopy was not very well glued to the frame with silicone. Most of it was already separated. So the plastic was peeled off and the old glue removed. Reglued using RC-56.

The wing kept the same control setup, aileron servo in the wing and a single spoiler servo in the fuselage. The wires into the fuselage for the spoilers were a bit beat up. The cable wire had a sleeve of brass tubing added to keep it from flexing. Connectors were changed to some ball links that can be popped on and off from the spoiler servo. It's still a challenge for the one side with the wing joiner. An inexpensive quilt was cut up to make wing bags for the ASW-24 and the Zugvogel. Perfect size with very little scrap.

A simple 1/64 ply cover for the aileron servo. It is stuck on with some sign vinyl.

There are some MKS 6150's on the ailerons and the elevator. The spoiler, rudder, and tow release are some older JR digital servos that were sitting in the basement. They will work fine with a LiFe flight pack.

First flights at the Cumberland Spring event. It was a little nose heavy and needed some up trim. The model handles well and has a reasonable speed range for the light weight. I did a few loops and the wing flex looked fine. Now its a wait for warmer painting weather to refresh the fuselage.

Plenty of flights for the year. Soaring at Cumberland, Salem, Muncy, Black Dirt. It doesn't take that much space. Finally some slope on Sunday at the Fall Cumberland.
