  • Hah 304 Shark canopy

After, lets call it a less than perfect landing, the canopy is now about 3/8" wider towards the rear than before. I'm assuming that it got compressed length wise. The actual canopy is partially loose from the frame and thankfully is not damaged. Does anyone know if the frame is internally reinforced and/or a how to straighten it?
    Thanks,
    Tom

Unfortunately, I don't know whether the frame can be straightened, but if it becomes necessary to replace the complete canopy Bob at Soaring USA can probably get one for you. He has good contacts at the company that builds the Shark these days. He was able to get an internal fiberglass dust cover for the retract for my 6 m Shark and had it included as part of a shipment of some models he purchased for sale. I've found him very responsive to emails.
    Hope this helps a little,
    Tom

Thank you Tom, if I can't repair the existing one I'll get in touch with Bob.

I replied to you on groups, before I knew you posted here.
