Bob has received two Diana’s, I’m going to see one next Monday for inspecti9n and photos. $3300 for the basic version is a lot less than I thought it would be. I’ll try posting my photos after I see it. Should be a great ship for the GPS racing class.

Definitely Dad like. Easy to see similarities with the Antares. Just wonder about visibility at 5 meters. Energy retention could and should be similar. Interesting to look at the GPS world masters coverage and note that it is not necessarily the biggest sailplanes that are the most successful. It will always be the pilot, but there is clearly a sweet spot in size it seems.Last edited by lenb; 12-01-2017, 12:14 AM.

I was always on the fence about the looks of the Diana, but seeing it in person and holding it in my hand it’s quite attractive. I still think for GPS racing the 6 meter size and above is the way to go. I understand a new 1/3 GPS ASW-17 is on the way, not sure of the manufacturer, The 17 should be a great ship for racing, and for collecting, I’ve always wanted one done properly. Thanks Steve for capturing these photos.
