Spoiler slot opened tonight, I intend using the electric spoilers from E-Flite, I am so sic to have to mess with the servo the linkage and the jamming nightmare that come with it...
The slot has been open with and X acto knife and a good steel ruler, The foam is removed with a dremel, a wood carving bit and a steel ruler
As kids are sleeping I moved on with the ailerons, same technique, I intend using knuckle hinges as I did on my edelweiss, finish is great for a little bit more work
Some lite ply has been used, after drilling the hole of the wing joiner, just draw from the wing on the ply and cut and sand... Just be sure that the sanding match with the fairings...
Forgot to mention how to sand the tip or root rib :
Just tape one of the end of the sanding block so it slide on the wing and allow your to apply some pressure on the other end in order to have and efficient sanding
Stephane, enjoying the build. Can you tell us which servo plug receptacle you are using in the root of the stab? I'm not sure I have seen that particular one before.
