Ever since I was a young kid I've been really bad about starting a project and not seeing it through to completion. Even my Dad would bust my chops whenever I came along with the latest and greatest thing I wanted to try (of course I was also pretty limited by the family income - or lack thereof - at the time), grumpily saying, "You never finished the last thing!" It seams I have never outgrown that either. I started out with plastic model airplanes but I never devoted enough time and attention to it to be as good as the stuff I saw in magazines. Of course some of that is the equipment and tools available to them, like airbrushes and putties, but there's a lot of skill that only comes from doing, over and over. Then I moved on to model rockets. I spent more time there and built a lot of rockets, but the majority of them were unpainted/undecorated competition models, not kits or scale models.
