For Sale: Hangar 9 J3 Cub Tow Plane
Hangar 9 Cub electric version highly modified for sailplane towing. The stock landing gear replaced with strong Robart Cub gear and beefy cool DuBro tundra tires. Plenty of Power for most 5 meter sailplane towing, loves the 4M stuff and hauls all else vertically.
Plane features a RimFire 50cc motor that will turn a 21x or 20x propeller on either 10 or 12S LiPo power. One set of 5s x 2 packs and 6s x 2 packs are included. Battery swaps are easy given the large side door in the fuselage (see photo below). Castle Creations HV speed controller, heavy gauge wiring and Castle gold bullet connectors. Includes dual 5-cell NiMh airborne packs to power the receiver and servos all day long. All JR digital servos. Ben Diss tow release.

Can be bind-n-fly for Spektrum or JR by adding the currently installed PowerSafe receiver for just $80 more.
She's still a beauty that tows like a champ. Some small covering patches and structurally perfect repair in the fuselage to firewall mount.
