DMFV, the German version of AMA, is about to fight the same battle we have been with FAA and DOT. They are fighting new regulations that would impose a 100 meter altitude limit on model aircraft. Here is a link to a petition that can be signed protesting new regulations in Germany. You can sign it even of you are not in Germany. I have flown aerotow there before and want to be able to go back and fly with my friends again!!

        I signed it too.
I live in Denmark and once or twice a year I go to Germany for an aerotowing event, and I would like to continue this tradition in the future.
In Denmark we do have a 100 m (300 ft) altitude limit on model airplanes, and have had this rule in place forever, so it´s liberating to go somewhere where this is not the case.

Also the beer, Eierlikör and Currywurst are quite good there... :-)
        Regards
