IMHO the Udvar-Hazy Center is better than the main museum downtown. The range of aircraft and many sailplanes makes it a winner. Glad you had a good time.

Your pictures remind me it's time for another visit.

Nice pictures Stephane! Add the " Garber facility " to that bucket list also. You get to see many aircraft in the raw and rough during its stages of restoration before it goes out to the museums.

Silver Hill was closed when the Dulles facility opened. It was a real attic gem of great stuff! The docents were very into their jobs and brought things to life! Glad we got there when we lived in Maryland.

Tours are no longer available at the Garber facility. Really neat history there. Plenty of "secret weapons" from many a land.

The poor Bowlus is resting peacefully at present but knows surgery time is imminent! When current project done it will receive the attention it deserves! (Stephane, Sorry for hijack)
