    Getting a Hemple 40% Super Cub ready for the Great American AeroTow.
    DA 170 going on this beast!

    Doubled the firewall with bracing, Plane came in good shape other than re shrinking

    Smart Fly power system x2
    Futaba SG 14 with Telemtry
    Two Futaba Telemtry receivers
    Iflytalies tow release
    15 servos, All Spectrum 6240, $1200 on those baby's
    200 oz @ 6 volts

    Should be a sweet tow plane

      I have the motor in and the power system ready to install
      Using two receivers on this one.

        Charlie,

        Looks like it should be an awesome tow plane! Probably won't even know that a sailplane is behind it, until your KA-6 is hooked up to the line. That will be a fantastic sight with planes of a similar era working together! Really looking forward to the Great America Aerotow, even talked the CEO to come and test your crabs! Keep humping so you can get some good shakedown flights in! Thanks for the dedication, can't get a ride without it!

          I think.......... and our text streams can get out of hand at times........ the person I feel bad for is the guy at the NSA who has to read them and look at the pictures!

            More work continues to finish up the build
            Tony made Me a nice heavy duty tow release
            Really nice work Tony!

            The tow release falls in front of the rear spar tube
            Not a lot of room for blind nuts and screws so Tony made it longer so the screws miss the spar tube.

            We are getting close to getting Her in the air
