  • What is it, and do you want it?

I came across a quart of this stuff. I do not know what it is or what it is for.

    So:
    What is it?
    What is it for?
Any value to scale glider guys?
Do you want it? Free delivery to Cumberland in November.

It's the stuff painted on a wing's upper surface that gives a foothold climbing up to the cockpit. It's a thick, gritty, black paint that dries with a sandpaper like finish. Wouldn't think it's of much use to glider guys since it's a drag maker. I have used model railroad ballast in black to get the same effect on power scale models.

Thank's, I just thought I would point out a good use for it! I did not mean I wanted it, but if no one else wants it I will accept your gracious offer Conio
Maybe we can paint it on the stairs of Jim's Hangar/Storage/Kitchen Facility on the mountain to stop people falling when it's damp

If we paint on the steps in a checkerboard pattern then folks can dance on the squares up and down the stairs and have some extra fun. And exercise.
